I was diagnosed with Anal cancer in August 2011. I was at a complete loss because I had no idea where to go and I had no Insurance. I was lucky that I had a good doctor who told me about the American Cancer Society and referred me to the Cancer Institute here. I undertook my journey through cancer With these resources, lots of prayers and my faith. On January 2012, I received the good news that I am clear. Today, I am celebrating my life as a survivor, thanks to God, my doctors and the American Cancer Society. With my experience, I want to help others to let them know they are not alone.
